Wherein I am whiny...

Mum is home and doing well but am still heading east...
Monday I depart for another 2 week tour of duty in Hudson. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents dearly and I'm happy to help out, I just hate that doing that involves dropping out of my own life for 2 weeks. It weirds me out...my primary concern however, is for wee tiny princess, who was a neurotic mess when i came back from my stint in Hudson last year, and she's only just forgiven me for leaving for Baltimore last weekend.
What it comes down to is I am going willingly but there's a small part of me that will be pouting and foot stomping and "I don't wanna"-ing all the way to Massachusetts.
On the plus side, both jobs are being accomodating...
savor your time with Mum and be sure to take it slow. I made my time with my mother a bit better by going over all the things she cooked that I loved, even it it made us both insane for not having it.

I will be happy to come over and let the wee tiny princess ignore me and pointedly act like I'm not there. I know it is just her way of showing affection. Go relax with your mom...
