Our House

I finally unearthed my box of old cameras from the recesses of my parents attic, in addition to the Duaflex III I was looking for, there were several I had forgotten, a brownie box camera, a brownie starmeter, a couple of polaroid land cameras, an Agfa Silette, an Argus Range Finder, an A-3 Kodak folding pocket camera (what pocket I'd like to know the thing is HUGE) a Kodak vest pocket camera (photo ganked from Arkku on Flickr) the last 2 models the bellows are rotted) a #2 Folding Autographic Brownie and finally a revere 16mm movie camera.
Consulted with Cha Cha about the viability of a couple of models since he's the big film using old camera geek. I may be able to get the Polaroid 250 to work and the brownie box...am considering trying to macgyver a 35mm cartridget to fit in the starmeter since it takes obsolete 127 film, but we'll see..Hoping to experiment a it more extensively once i'm back in the land where the question "do you have medium format film or know where I can get it?" isn't met with a blank stare.
In the meantime, have been experimenting with the whole "through the viewfinder" thing, and plan to go out for a bike ride later and shoot a roll on the range finder and the agfa...see what I get...
Mum is well.
Good to hear your mom is well. Enjoy the viewfinder fun-it takes some experimentation and a lot of black foamcore board but the results are great.
I've got the same Argus you do-it weighs about 500 pounds. I'm tempted to throw some film in that and start experimenting...

Wow. That was some serious camera porn. I covet that Agfa Silette.

Yes, Film For Classics rawks! Love my Duaflex III - hope you'll consider posting more photos taken with your vintage cameras. May have to try 35mm in the ol' duaflex, but I'm not that handy. It is great for TtV photos and using it as it was meant to be used - with film.
