Inadvertant groupie.
As anyone who knows me knows, I'm a complete groupie trollop. Not in a Keef doing lines off my backside sort of way (don't I *wish*) but in a way that my insides go all squinky at the sight of a tall faintly attractive man with a guitar..it's not something I'm proud about, but I have come to accept it as part of my character....part of my charm Mrs B might say (or she'd just roll her eyes and wish I wasn't such a loser...hard to say)...
MY POINT: I was walking from the train to work this morning and as I passed by the rather swish W hotel there was a gentleman exiting pulling his little rolling bag...tall lanky scruffy...delicious. I'm giving him my patented "come slither" ogle (which you will never have heard of since it quite obviously doesn't work and would more likely be deemed "creepy" "frightening" or "off-putting") He met my look and gave me a faint smile and nod of acknowledgement. I felt faintly special, until I realized he was getting on a giant Bon Jovimobile...and that he was accompanied by 3 other rockin looking gents...It was then I realised I was making googly eyes at a rock star - Thing of it is, NO EFFING IDEA WHO. Anyway, he obviously thought I knew who the fuck he was...which cheapens the whole eye contact head nod thing.
Feh.
So where the hell have I been? I'm currently between ISP's at home, so my internet time is limited...add to that, I've been busy. A lovely visit with Molly Goatwax this past weekend, which included brunch on Saturday with Miss A and Mike T, and then Indian food followed with cocktails with Spot and the lovely Missus....beyond that, I'm riding about 9 miles a day on the bike walking about 3 miles, working about 12 hours most days, have lost enough weight to get back into jeans without struggling and tears....made some kick ass bbq chicken..doing some light stalking...developed a taste for whiskey...
yeah...that's all i can think of at the moment.
Your special bartender does indeed have a "kind to animals and drunks" tender look about his eyes, perhaps it's his familiar smile, he is dreamy.
