So a nice weekend has definitely taken the edge off my snarkiness...
Friday night, as previously mentioned was the yearly Xmas bowling get together - I do love me some bowling...I didn't exactly kill, but I did get 2 strikes, and didn't come in last, which is really all I ask...friends+bowling+beer=really good time. (with apologies to Quattro for being a traitor)
Saturday was spent feeling faintly fragile from the previous nights festivities, I spent the day making pot roast, and doing little else. Quattro came round for a quick dine and dash before heading off to work...contemplated taking him up on his kind invite to the Brew and View, free Johnny Depp double feature was extremely tempting, but I elected instead to stay home. I did go out for a nice walk tho, as it had been snowing, and I went out and took pictures of peoples Xmas lights, because really, what's more fun for a single gal on a Saturday night than walking around under cover of night taking pictures of the homes of strangers??
Today was Miss Kathy's holiday brunch, which was just smashing, after loading up on coffee and bacony goodness, I met Mr Mike to go see Melvin Goes to Dinner which was highly entertaining. Rounded out the evening meeting Quattro for a few bevvies at Gold Star...
Also, Mr. Mike presented me with a copy of the new Splitsville CD, which just completely fucking ROCKS.
So a good weekend all round. Tomorrow we will return you to your regularly scheduled biching, moaning and complaining..
